A dance studio has written to you through Cadanse, or has opened an account for you. This page explains what Cadanse is, what the studio sees of you, and what you can do here before enrolling anyone.
What Cadanse is
Cadanse is the software your studio runs its season with: its class schedule, its registrations, its payments, its attendance and its communications. You are not dealing with a marketplace or a studio directory: each studio has its own space, and yours only sees its own families.
Your account is yours. It gives you a direct way in, rather than a chain of emails and text messages to dig back up.
What you can do right now
- See what the studio offers: the season's classes, the age groups, the schedule and the spots still open.
- Ask for a trial class, when the studio offers them.
- Register your child when you are ready, and pay online if the studio has turned payments on.
- Keep your contact details current, so announcements and cancellation notices reach you.
Nothing is committed until you enrol a student: an open account is not a registration.
What the studio sees of you
The studio sees what you have given it: your name, your contact details, and the registrations you make. It sees nothing of your other activities, and Cadanse sells no data. Canadian studios using Cadanse are required by law to tell you what your information is used for; their privacy policy is available from the footer of the site.
If you are not interested
You can ignore the studio's messages, or ask it to take you off its follow-ups. An unused account costs nothing and triggers no billing: Cadanse is paid for by the studio, never by families.
