Send us your exports. We hand back your studio.
We do the import — on every plan, during your first 60 days. If it turns out not to be the right tool, we refund you.
What we commit to
We do the import
You send the exports from your current software; we hand back a ready database — families, students, classes, enrolments, balances. Included on EVERY plan for your first 60 days, not only on Gala.
60-day money-back guarantee
Two months to decide, a full session to judge. If Cadanse isn't the right fit, we refund the subscription. There are no import fees to claw back — the import cost you nothing.
Price locked for the first year
Leaving Akada or ProInscription? The price shown the day you sign up is yours for twelve months, whatever happens to our pricing in the meantime.
Four steps, two to three weeks
Week 1
You export
Every studio management product can produce a CSV or an Excel file. We tell you exactly which exports to pull, and whom to ask when the interface doesn't offer them.
Week 1
We reconcile the counts
Before anything is loaded, we send the counts back: this many families, this many students, this many open balances, for this total. You confirm they're your numbers — that's where a truncated export gets caught.
Week 2
We deliver the database
Your studio arrives already filled, with a register of what was imported, line by line. You open it, check it, ask for fixes. Nothing goes out to families until you say so.
Week 3
You open the season
Registrations run on Cadanse. Keep the old system read-only as long as you need, then demand its destruction — with our template letter.
And what the old vendor must destroy
Leaving also means taking your data back. Law 25 gives you the right to require your former vendor to destroy your families' personal information once the purpose it was collected for is fulfilled — and it is you, not them, who answers to your families for it.
- A template letter to send your former vendor, ready to sign.
- The list of what to claim before switching it off: full exports, attachments, payment logs.
- The register of what we imported — proof that nothing was lost on the way.
- The deadline to watch, and what to do if they don't answer.
- We provide the materials; the request remains yours to make, and this isn't legal advice.
What studios ask before they jump
We understand the challenges studio directors face.
Built with dance studios — designed around yours.
What does the import cost?
Nothing, on every plan, for your first 60 days. After that window, import goes back to being a Gala feature — because a recurring import, season after season, is no longer a migration.
When do the 60 days start?
When your studio is set up and open, not when you sign. The time we spend preparing your database doesn't eat your window.
Does the guarantee cover the import work?
The question doesn't arise: we do the import at no charge. What gets refunded is the subscription — there's nothing else to refund.
What if my current software exports badly?
That's the common case, not the exception. We work with what comes out, tell you what's missing, and help you claim it. Whatever we can't reconstruct, you hear about before the load, not after.
Can we migrate mid-session?
Yes, though back-to-school is the best moment: registrations start clean and the old system's balances close properly. If you can't wait, we migrate mid-session — just tell us.
Tell us where you're coming from
A twenty-minute call is enough to learn what your current software can export, and what the migration will really ask of you.
